Both cenestopathies (abnormal body sensations) and hypochondriac symptoms can occur in both acute and chronic psychotic disorders. The present article will briefly describe some psychotic pictures that may accompanied with cenestopathies and/ or hypochondriacal symptoms. All descriptions will be illustrated with clinical examples to facilitate the understanding and delimitation of these diseases.
